QuantAscent Technologies LLC is a software company. QuantAscent is self-directed research and portfolio-management software — a tool, not an adviser. QuantAscent Technologies LLC is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and using the software does not create an advisory, fiduciary, brokerage, or client relationship of any kind.
Nothing on this site, in the application, or in the documentation is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security. The software does not know your financial situation, objectives, or risk tolerance, and nothing it produces is tailored to them.
QuantAscent connects to a brokerage account that you hold with your own broker. Every strategy run in the software is configured, adopted, or authored by you. QuantAscent prepares order lists from the rules you chose; every order is previewed and confirmed by you before it is sent, and all trades execute in your own account, under your credentials. QuantAscent never takes custody of your funds or securities and cannot move money on your behalf.
Built-in strategy templates are analytical starting points that you choose and can modify. They are not recommendations, and adopting one is solely your decision.
Unless expressly labeled otherwise, performance figures on this site and in the application are hypothetical. They were produced by applying a set of rules to historical data, not by trading an account. Backtested performance is calculated with the benefit of hindsight, assumes the rules were applied consistently and that every trade filled as modeled, and does not reflect the taxes, fees, spreads, or market conditions you would actually face. Historical data can carry survivorship and reporting biases. Walk-forward and "out-of-sample" records are constructed to avoid hindsight in rule selection, but they are still hypothetical measurements over historical data — not actual trading results.
No representation is made that any strategy or account will achieve results similar to any figure shown. Past performance and hypothetical performance are not indicative of future results.
Screenshots showing account values, positions, or returns come from a QuantAscent development account. Those values are illustrative only — they do not represent a customer account, an actual investment result, or performance you should expect. Any securities visible in screenshots are examples, not recommendations.
Charts of statistical research output (information coefficients, quintile returns, p-values) illustrate the software. A metric's past relationship to subsequent returns may not persist, and does not predict the return of any individual stock.
The demo on the home page uses simulated data for illustration only. Its results are not actual investment returns, are not a guarantee of future performance, and a strategy you build may perform very differently — including losing money.
